KeyPoint Credit Union’s leaders on the Board of Directors, Supervisory Committee and Executive Team compose a group of Silicon Valley professionals dedicated to providing the products and services KeyPoint members need to attain financial well-being.

Aside from the Executive Team, these people work as volunteers for KeyPoint and commit themselves to improving the communities we serve because they live there, too.

  • robert-lerner

    Robert Lerner 

    Robert is Chairman and a 16-year veteran of the Board. He is currently Vice President of Finance and Administration of AlienVault and previously served in executive financial roles at Aerohive, Fortinet, Siebel Systems, Excite@Home (previously @Home Network), Sybase, Cypress Semiconductor and numerous private technology companies.  

    He volunteers as CFO of Blue Planet Network, serves on the board of the Peninsula Chapter of Amigos de las Americas, and participates actively in Financial Executives International (FEI). Robert earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Marshall University and his MBA from Georgia State University.  Robert lives with his wife and son in Los Altos and enjoys cycling and travel.

    John Tom
    Vice Chairman

    John serves as Vice Chairman of the Board and has been a member of the KeyPoint Board of Directors for more than 20 years, including several years as Chairman.  John is a veteran of Silicon Valley, working at numerous technology firms including Apple, Symantec and Ziff Davis. Currently, he is the Managing Partner of Beyond The Game, LLC. 

    He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and an MBA. John has earned a California Community College Instructor Credential, and he referees United States Soccer Federation matches in his spare time.

  • suzanne-rakow

    Suzanne Rakow

    Suzanne currently serves as Secretary and Treasurer.   She joined the Board in 1992 and has served three terms as Chairman. A longtime member of the Credit Union, Suzanne spent 20 years in Silicon Valley directing the financial operations of both startup and established electronic companies in positions of Controller, CFO and President. Finishing her career in the San Francisco area, Suzanne did project work for a large CPA firm. In 2001 she retired to Chico, California where she taught accounting classes at California State University - Chico. 

    Active in the textile arts community, Suzanne travels extensively and continues to serve as Treasurer/Board Member for The International Centre for Women Playwrights.

    Suzanne holds a BS in Business/Accounting from San Jose State University and an MBA from Pepperdine University.

    Keith Stattenfield

    Keith has been a KeyPoint volunteer for more than 12 years while serving in numerous positions, including Chairman, Budget Committee, and the Supervisory Committee. Keith is a long-time software engineer for Apple, Inc., and has been a KeyPoint member for 24 years. 

    Keith holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Stanford University. 

    Keith actively serves his community as a Planning Commissioner in the city of Santa Clara and Board Member of the Santa Clara City Library Foundation and Friends.

    Baljinder Sandhu

    Bal currently serves as a Director. She served as Chairperson of the Supervisory Committee in 2012 and previously spent three years on KeyPoint’s Budget Committee. Bal brings extensive credit union experience to KeyPoint after working in leadership positions at VanCity Savings Credit Union in Vancouver, British Columbia, the largest credit union in Canada. She also held key management positions with the Canada Employment and Immigration Commission (CEIC), a federal government agency.  She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the University of British Columbia.  She is married with two sons and lives in Silicon Valley.

    Greg Eby

    Greg is a former Board Chairman who has served KeyPoint for more than 16 years. He has held positions on the Supervisory Committee for seven years and held Board positions for nine years. Greg, who is the principal of Refined Technologies, Inc., in San Jose, holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management from York College of Pennsylvania.

    Adam Corkins

    Adam Corkins has been a KeyPoint volunteer for eight years. He was previously the Chairman of the Supervisory Committee and a member of the Budget Committee. Adam is committed to ensuring that the credit union remains focused on serving its members and uses technology to offer superior member service.

    A 10+ year employee at Cisco, Adam has held positions in Engineering, Product Management, and currently Corporate Development, where he leads customer experience for acquisitions.

    Adam holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration with Finance Concentration from Santa Clara University.

    Karen Parsons

    Karen has served a combined 15 years for KeyPoint on the Board, including two years as Chairman, and the Supervisory Committee. A lawyer by education, Karen has worked at several Silicon Valley firms, most recently as HGST's OEM Credit and Collections Manager.

    Karen has served as a commissioner for the City of San Jose on the Appeals Hearing Board for six years, two of them as Chairman. She has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from National University and a Juris Doctor degree from Lincoln Law School of San Jose.

    Dinesh Bettadapur

    Dinesh began his Board service in April 2013. He is a senior business executive with more than 20 years of broad experience in general management, sales, business development, and strategic alliances across the semiconductor and LED lighting industries.

    His previous positions include President/CEO of ASML MaskTools, Executive VP at Monterey Design Systems, Assistant GM at Intel Corporation, and VP of Sales and Business Development at Intematix.

    He has been on the board of Saratoga Little League for the past five years and currently serves as its President. He also is a Mentor at Everwise, helping business executives achieve their long-term career goals.

  • Peter Lycurgus
    Director Emeritus

    Peter is a former Chairman of the Board and is the longest-serving volunteer in the history of KeyPoint Credit Union - he has served on the Board for over 21 years. Peter retired from Apple Computer, where he was Senior Manager of World Wide Corporate Affairs.

    Bunninder Falak
    Supervisory Committee Chairman

    Bunninder has been a member of the Supervisory Committee for more than three years, currently serving as Chairman. Previously, he served as a member of the Budget Committee and an Associate Board Member for three years. 

    Bunninder is a veteran of Silicon Valley having worked at technology firms like Cadence Design Systems, Get2Chip, VeriBest and Synopsys. Most recently he was the Vice President of Business Development at Oasys Design Systems. 

    He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications from Manipal Institute of Technology and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

  • Mary Vetrano

    Mary Vetrano
    Supervisory Committee 

    Mary brings more than 30 years of experience in high-tech companies and currently is working in Marketing Operations at Altera Corporation supporting Demand and Lead Generation. Her past work experience includes roles in Information Technology, Sales Operations, New Product Engineering, Manufacturing Planning and Accounting. 

    Mary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Santa Clara University. Mary also is certified in Prosci Change Management and has been a volunteer coach for local soccer and softball leagues.

    Gary Garcia
    Supervisory Committee

    Gary joined the Supervisory Committee in April 2013. He has held various senior managerial roles in the Silicon Valley, presently working as VP of Business Development at Vistara and previously as a Sr. Product Manager at NetApp.  Gary holds an MBA from Santa Clara University. Away from the office, he is a Professional Dive master actively involved with the Association of Dive Instructors (PADI). Gary also participates in ocean clean-up activities and fish surveys.

  • Kirthi Vani
    Associate Director

    Kirthi brings approximately 18 years of experience in high-tech companies and is currently working as a Manager, Management Consulting at Accenture. Her past work experience includes roles at Citrix and Hewlett Packard. She also serves on the board of the Foundation and Friends of the Santa Clara City Library.

    Kirthi holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Mysore.

    Wayne Norris
    Associate Director

    Wayne is a management, technology, sales, intellectual property, and business development consultant. His career spans 44 years, beginning with analyzing Apollo 11 and 12 moon rocks. 

    Wayne has authored two books, has consulted in aerospace, aviation, flight simulators, oil and gas, software development, Internet technology, stock trading, environmental management, infrared technology, counterterrorism, LIDAR, mining, accounting, and finance. He also serves as an expert witness in technology lawsuits.

    Wayne earned his physics BA from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He has three sons, one grandson, and lives with his wife in Santa Barbara.  Wayne enjoys skydiving and surfing.

    T. Bradford Canfield
    President and Chief Executive Officer

    T. Bradford Canfield was named President and CEO of KeyPoint Credit Union in April 2012. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer and Interim President at 1st Security Bank of Washington where he oversaw all banking-related functions and strategic restructuring. 

    Prior to that, Brad was the CFO and Vice President of Administration of Boeing Employees Credit Union. During his 20-year tenure, he was responsible for all internal and external financial reporting and supervised 150 staff members as well as the Administrative Division. 

    Brad has served as a board member to Prime Alliance Solutions and the Woodland Park Zoological Society. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Accounting from Gonzaga University.

    Senior Vice President, Member Strategies

    Helen Grays Jones has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry.   She has worked for KeyPoint Credit Union since 2001.  In her role as Senior Vice President of Member Strategies, Helen is responsible for strategic planning efforts of the retail branch network, business & community development and service delivery initiatives.

    Prior to joining KeyPoint Credit Union, Helen worked for Citibank and Wells Fargo Bank. 

    She is a recipient of the San Jose Business Journal’s Woman of Distinction Award, winner of nine industry awards for manager of the year, member of the Professional Business Women Network, Advisory board member for Teen Network Shelter, and currently serves as a Board Member for the Santa Clara Valley Chapter Credit Union League.

  • Leslie Jeffries
    Chief Information Officer

    Leslie Jeffries joined KeyPoint Credit Union in the Fall of 2012. Prior to that she was with Technology Credit for ten years where she successfully led teams to upgrade the Tech CU technology infrastructure and systems, including the replacement of the core banking system. Current projects include reengineering KeyPoint Credit Union's core systems, and development of innovative technologies for the Credit Union membership.

    Previously, Leslie has held leadership positions with several high tech firms including 3Com Corporation, Applied Materials and Apple Computer. Leslie received her MBA, with honors, from St. Mary’s College, California in 2011. Her graduate studies focused on emerging global mobile technologies and payment structures.

  • Faye NabhaniFaye Nabhani
    Chief Lending Officer

    Faye Nabhani is Chief Lending Officer, and has been with KeyPoint Credit Union for over 19 years. Faye leads the operations of all Retail Lending areas, including Consumer, Real Estate, and Loan Servicing. She has been the architect of many highly successful initiatives designed around member service and loan growth. Faye holds an Associate of Arts degree from DeAnza College.

    Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer

    Sam Tuohey joined KeyPoint Credit Union as its Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in September 2013. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Stanford Federal Credit Union where he oversaw daily operations, marketing, card and online services. Sam has been a senior executive in the credit union industry since 1984. During his career, he has been responsible for technology, marketing, and operational departments. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from San Jose State University, and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

  • Timothy Green Timothy Green
    Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

    Timothy Green, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, has more than 14 years of accounting and finance experience. Tim joined KeyPoint in 2013 and is responsible for all aspects of finance, financial reporting and risk management functions. Prior to joining KeyPoint, Tim had been with Gateway Bank since 2009, managing the bank's accounting and finance departments. Tim was heavily involved in the successful recapitalization of the Bank through an $8.1 million private placement stock offering, and lead a complete redesign of all finance, liquidity and interest rate sensitivity policies and procedures.

    Prior to Gateway, Tim was Senior Vice President of Finance for a national mortgage bank, and a manager at regional and national public accounting firms with a specialty in financial institutions and SEC registrants. Tim is a graduate of Evergreen State College with a focus on Economics, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in California.

  • Steven WeilerSteven H. Weiler
    Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking

    Steven H. Weiler joined the KeyPoint Executive Management Team as Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking in 2012. Steven has more than 25 years’ experience within the financial services industry with more than 10 years at credit unions.

    Steven is a Midwesterner through and through earning both his undergraduate and graduate degree in Wisconsin.

    Throughout his career Steven has been active in a variety of community organizations. He is the former board member and Treasurer of Academy of Friends. Steven is currently an active member of the Belden Club a philanthropic community based organization in San Francisco, Silicon Valley Leadership Group and Bay Area Mortgage Association.

  • LeeAnne Giblin
    Senior Vice President, Human Resources

    LeeAnne Giblin joined KeyPoint in January 2014, and has more than 15 years of experience in the Human Resources field. LeeAnne is responsible for all aspects of human resource and organizational development, as well as staff training and development at KeyPoint.

     Prior to joining KeyPoint, LeeAnne was SVP, Chief Administrative Officer at Patelco Credit Union for over three years. LeeAnne has also held executive roles in Human Resources at Technology Credit Union and CommonWealth Central Credit Union.  Before entering the credit union industry, she worked in telecommunications.

    LeeAnne has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Master of Science degree in Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco.
